“Can I relax?” That was the first sentence I wrote, feeling a little unsure of what to expect. By the end, my final word was “serenity.”
I hadn’t drawn or coloured anything since school, over 45 years ago, and was amazed by how it relaxed me. It opened my eyes to the power of shapes and their connection to emotion.
The session left me feeling calm, clear, and more mindful of the beauty around me. I realised: you don’t have to be afraid to try something new.
I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and look forward to exploring this as a path to mindfulness.
